Love to Cook
Jan.12, 2012, under Computer|Internet|Tech, Entertainment|Games, Family
Thanks to Wm Rowe
I absolutely love to cook. It’s one of my favorite pastimes, and I love nothing more than seeing smiles on my kids’ faces when I make their favorite meal. I’ll admit that cooking was easier before we moved to our new rural home, as a trip to the grocery store requires a bit of a drive. However, I refuse to allow my difficulty getting to the grocery store to affect my love of cooking—so I have come up with a brilliant solution. Did you know there are websites where you can enter ingredients you have on hand and they’ll search for recipes using those ingredients? It’s absolutely a miracle of modern science. I go to the grocery store once a month since, and I freeze as much as I can. I use the ingredients I have on hand to make recipes I know well, and when I get to the “bottom of the barrel” as my husband says, I start getting creative. I’ll rustle up some carrots, my last few chicken breasts, and some seasonings, and enter them in my recipe website. Done! I can usually find a great recipe using only the stuff I have in my fridge and pantry. Now, the actual internet service was difficult in and of itself—most of the service providers don’t offer service where we live, but my husband stumbled upon Wild Blue Internet Reviews one day at work. We’re able to get online when we need to, even in our incredibly remote location!

Vietnam Special
Dec.10, 2011, under Computer|Internet|Tech, Entertainment|Games
Thanks for the article from Isaiah Gaines
My husband has taken over my direct tv layton DVR with some special on The History Channel about the Vietnam War. I’m not even sure what it’s called, but this is what I’m sure of—I want nothing to do with watching it. I was sitting in the kitchen, working on my laptop, the first time he watched it. I caught a few glimpses and was completely disgusted. It was so incredibly violent and graphic. Now, please understand that I am aware that war is graphic. And I have nothing but absolute respect for anyone who fights for our country. However, I cannot fill my head with those images. I am not the sort of person who is able to get the images out of her head, unfortunately. My husband has decided he wants to watch the specials on our family room television since it’s our nicest tv, so I am forced to hide out in another room while it’s on. Plus, he’s filling up my DVR with the show, and it’s bumping all of my shows out of the queue. This show is kind of one of the worst things that has happened to me in recent history.
Contagion – ICK!

Thanks for the article from Glenda Hanson
Have you guys seen that movie Contagion? I was looking through the Cable Providerschannel list the other day and saw it mentioned on at the theaters so I actually went out and saw a matinee. Boy, was that a bad idea! I am already a hypochondriac so watching a movie about a virus that spreads easily and kills just about everybody was the worst thing I could have done. Now my hands are raw from how I’ve been washing them all the time and my friends are getting really fed up with how I’m always wearing a face mask so I don’t inhale germs. I know that sounds ridiculous but I just don’t want to take any chances and get sick if I don’t have to. I know I’m probably being paranoid but I’d rather be like that than be sick with something that’s going to kill me in the long run and I know it’s only a matter of time before a virus like in that movie starts taking out people left and right.

RC car for my loveable son
Oct.01, 2009, under Entertainment|Games, Parenting
I bought this the other day for my youngest son. I just thought of buying him this thing since he loves cars. This is a remote control (RC) car and he loves playing with it. Since he is too young for this toy, I ask my wife to always supervise him whenever he will be playing with this. I love watching him play and enjoy all the things in life!
Just reading good reviews
Sep.08, 2009, under Computer|Internet|Tech, Entertainment|Games
When I was younger I once played games in a casino with my friends. And that’s fun! Now, that I am a bit mature, I chose not to go with them anymore. I prefer to stay with my wife and my son most of the time! After work, it will be visiting my dad and then home with my family!
But I can still play casino if I want to. All I have to do is to find the best usa online casino that can give me the best game that I want! But before playing any online casino game, I need to read a comprehensive review about this out of the ordinary game. It is okay since I also love reading casino review! I am not sure though if I will actually play this game online! But who knows I can find enough time and enough extra resources for me to play! I am hoping I will win (if given a chance to play)! Wish me luck!
TV and HD DVD in one
Aug.25, 2009, under Entertainment|Games, Gadgets|Gadget Accessories
What I like with this TV is that it has its built in DVD at the back. This thing saves a lot of space! Also, it will help save utility bills since it’s just the TV alone which will use the electricity. Though, there are many of unsatisfied customers who bought this brand because of the DVD quality but in my personal opinion, I do like it! My son is now enjoying a lot with watching cartoon movies and playing his v-tech games since I solely bought this thing for him! This is not much since it is only 22” which is a bit okay for his convenience of viewing all the things that he wants!
